I drilled a hole in the St. Louis Battlehawks 2023 Mug Apart from…,I will love this fence about “Nose High” and whenever the dogs would start carrying on, I’d go out with a handful of some High Value Treats, call them to the fence, rub the treats in my fingers so they could smell them and wait until they were quiet, then say “Quiet Now!!” and pass out a few treats… How much do you know about your neighbor and their life? I ask because the trend in recent years is that most people don’t know their neighbors hardly at all and it leads into my next questions… Is your neighbor elderly? Are they disabled? Have they recently suffered a loss? I admit that I am the neighbor on my street who prioritizes mowing to the bottom of my to do list. To me a perfect lawn is just not that important. It’s comprised mostly of weeds (but they’re green so IDGAF). I tend to my front yard before my backyard. That’s me. If I have a death in the family, or injure myself or whatever I feel is more important, I don’t mow, and we can’t afford to hire someone to do it so it waits and my neighbors can deal (granted I’ve never gone for months except in slow-grow seasons). Maybe your neighbor has injured themself or had surgery or is disabled and aside from that can’t afford lawn care (that shit ain’t cheap since teenagers aren’t doing it anymore). Maybe you should walk over, knock on the door, introduce yourself or reintroduce yourself and see if they need any help.
I have a friend who is a disabled vet. She physically can’t do most personal care, let alone mow her grass and VA disability doesn’t pay enough to pay for the St. Louis Battlehawks 2023 Mug Apart from…,I will love this luxury of lawn care. Her husband is away a lot for work so there are long stretches where it can’t get done. Her neighbors see this and rather than being neighborly and seeing if she requires help they tattle on her to the HOA and she gets fined money she can’t pay for a silly chore she can’t accomplish. My neighbours let their cat crap all over my garden so I took to throwing it back over the fence when it does. Funnily enough it soon stopped when I made it obvious that was what I was doing (and clocked up holes in the fence that it was going through and shot it with a water pistol a few times etc). But it is an ongoing battle. It still comes in every now and then. When I find it I just throw it over the fence. Their cat, their crap, they can deal with it. I asked a few times politely. I don’t let my pets crap in other peoples gardens so?
