I’ve been in my current place (also a townhouse) for about a year. I say knock on the door, ask if it’s ok for you to mow their lawn, that you are out mowing and in the mood to keep going! They will say yes or no. Maybe it’s someone older or sick and that’s why the grass is higher, they might really appreciate your looking out for them! You need to stop them right away before they pour concrete and tell them they need to make sure where the property line is as you believe they are infringing on your property line. If you have a survey from when you bought the house, pull it out and look at it, and if they are infringing, show it to them and tell them to fix your yard back the way it was. Don’t hesitate, once concrete is poured it is hard to get rid of and the neighbor may simply not care and assume he can just take your land if you do nothing. This hit a chord with me . Last year after getting out of the hospital’s ICU (pneumonia and flu ) I was hit with a letter and court date because my grass was too high . One of my neighbors called ! I don’t live in a posh neighborhood …I keep to myself . Growing up , we never asked our elderly neighbors if they needed yard work done , garbage taken out, etc …NEVER . We just did it , because that’s what neighbors do . I don’t mind cutting my yard , I have an old push mower …my neighbors all have riding mowers . How long do you think it would take them to cut my yard ? Ten, maybe twenty minutes ? I cut my yard three weeks ago and it took me 4 hours …( I can’t afford to hire someone ) I COULDN’T BREATHE !!! I thought at one point I was going to have a heart attack …my neighbor ( a man ) sat on his porch and watched !!! But it had to be done …code enforcement checks my yard every two weeks , to make sure I’m complying . Here’s my point …ask your neighbor if they’re okay !! Are they elderly ? Has one fallen ill and being taken care of by the other ? Has their lawnmower been stolen/broke ? ( I had THREE stolen ) . You never know what a person is going through …be the kind neighbor and ask . Ask if you can help them ! Won’t hurt anything !

My friend’s Mom’s neighbor never talked to anyone. While she was on vacation, someone pulled a U-Haul truck up to her property and took everything. It looked like the Somos Los Sacramento Kings Noches Ene-be-a Mug Additionally,I will love this Grinch had visited; not even a crumb big enough for a mouse was left. No one thought to question it. She did not know her neighbors. Had she known them, she could have told them she would be on vacation out of town, and someone might have been able to stop them from robbing her blind. You have an awesome neighbor! Or one that loves even lengths of grass. But either way, not a bad thing! Go over and introduce yourself! Say hello. Bring them a batch of cookies. Do something nice that you want to do. You don’t have to be best friends but neighbors can at least look out for each other. We live in suburbia, in a “nice” area full of ordinary people. Our neighbours one side are in their eighties, the other side their fifties, behind us to one side a family with pre-school kids, behind us to the other side….. the neighbour from hell.
